Terms & Conditions
1.About HISAB
HISAB (by TRYNEX) is a mobile web tool that helps shop owners record credit sales ("udhaar") and share a simple receipt with the customer on WhatsApp. With the customer's permission, a factual payment indicator (paid / pending, amount range, number of reporting shops) can be visible to other participating shops on TRYNEX, so honest customers build a positive payment history and shops can make better-informed credit decisions.
2.Who these terms apply to
| Role | Who | Key duties |
|---|---|---|
| Seller | Shop owner recording deals | Enter accurate records; honour buyer rights; use only for genuine business transactions |
| Buyer | Customer whose purchase is recorded | Owns the choice to allow/withdraw payment-history sharing; may dispute wrong records |
| TRYNEX (us) | Platform operator | Store data securely, honour DPDP rights, never sell data, provide grievance redressal |
3.Payment History Sharing ⭐
3.1 How sharing works
- Consent first: Sharing happens only with your clear permission, given by tapping "🛡️ ALLOW KARO" on your purchase-note page (or later from the same link). We record when and how you consented (consent timestamp + source).
- Timing: Even after you allow, the record becomes visible to other shops only from due date + 7 days onwards. Nothing is shared before the due date.
- Paid records count in your favour: A paid record that was shared builds your positive payment history — shops see that you pay on time.
- Unpaid past-due records: Shown only as a neutral factual indicator (e.g., "₹1,000–₹5,000 pending at a shop since [date]"). Never labelled "defaulter", "banned" or "fraud".
- Private deals: If the shop saved the deal as 🔒 Private, OR you did not allow sharing, the record is visible only to that shop and you. It never enters any network view or score.
3.2 What other shops see (and don't)
| Visible to other shops (only with your ALLOW) | Never visible to other shops |
|---|---|
|
• Status: paid on time / paid late / pending • Amount range (bucketed) • Since when pending • How many independent shops reported • Shop's business sector/city (not shop name, unless implied by the check) |
• Your full name or item details • Any shop's private records about you • Records you disputed (hidden while under review) • Records where you said "Don't allow" • Anything labelled a "credit score" or "defaulter list" |
3.3 Where you can manage this
- Withdraw anytime: Open your note link → tap "Nahi, private rakho". The record leaves network views.
- Re-allow anytime: Same link → ALLOW KARO.
- Dispute anytime: Same link → "Details galat hain?". Disputed records are hidden from all network views until the shop resolves it.
4.Buyer rights (DPDP Act 2023)
- Right to consent & purpose: You are told, in plain words, what is recorded and why — before or at the time of recording.
- Right to withdraw consent: Anytime, from the note link or by emailing the Grievance Officer. Withdrawal stops all future network sharing.
- Right to access & correction: Ask us what we hold about your number and get wrong records fixed.
- Right to erasure: Ask for deletion of your records, subject to any legal retention needs.
- Right to grievance redressal: Free of charge, response within 30 days (see §11).
5.Seller obligations
- Record only real transactions with real customers. Fake/malicious entries are a violation and grounds for account removal.
- Keep records updated — mark deals paid when the customer pays.
- Respond to buyer disputes honestly and promptly.
- Do not use HISAB data to harass, threaten or publicly shame any customer.
- You are the data fiduciary for the records you create; TRYNEX processes them on your instructions and provides the consent infrastructure.
6.What HISAB is NOT
7.Privacy & DPDP Act 2023
We process personal data (name, mobile number, purchase amount, items, dates, payment status) under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, on the basis of your consent for the specific purposes described in §3. Full details — data collected, storage location (Supabase/India-region cloud), security measures, children's data (we do not knowingly process data of persons under 18) — are in our Privacy & DPDP Notice, which forms part of these terms.
8.Data retention & deletion
- Deal records are kept while your account is active and for 36 months after the last activity, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
- Buyers may request erasure anytime via the Grievance Officer; we act within 30 days.
- Consent logs (timestamp, source, version) are retained as proof of lawful processing.
9.Liability & seller–buyer disputes
- HISAB is a record-keeping and communication tool. The credit relationship is solely between seller and buyer. TRYNEX is not a party to it, does not guarantee payment, and does not recover money on anyone's behalf.
- Seller-reported records are unverified by us; if a record is wrong, the dispute process (§3.3) is the remedy.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRYNEX's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to ₹1,000 or the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is lower.
10.Changes to these terms
Material changes (especially to sharing rules) will be announced in-app and by updating the version date above. For existing consented buyers, we will re-notify before any change takes effect that widens sharing; you can withdraw consent at any time if you do not accept.
